Welcome to Ridgewood’s Rescue and Adoption Puppies Page!
It is most important to us to place each and every one of our puppies in the right home for them. It’s also important to us that our customers have the right puppy for them. We offer training information, as well as a lot of general puppy information to make sure you know and understand as much as possible. However, because each puppy, as well as their owner is unique, we can’t see every situation that might arise. Every once in a while, we place a puppy and for whatever reason it doesn’t work out. So, we’ve created this adoption puppies page in an effort to stay responsible to our puppies and keep them from going to the SPCA’s and Humane Leagues.
If you purchased your puppy from Ridgewood Kennels II and it is not working out – due to non-warranty issues, you can surrender your puppy back to AA Ridgewood Kennels II, so we can find a new home for them. He/She needs to be up to date on all shots. If you are looking for an adult or older puppy, this is the place to look.
Be advised, previously placed puppies have started building habits from their previous home. Also remember, someone else was already training this dog, hopefully correctly, but more often not. It is possible to retrain badly trained dogs. It’s not as easy as training a brand new puppy but it’s not impossible. Refer to our training page, and we will also be happy to help you through the process. Please come in and spend time with any k9 you see on this page, deposits can not be placed online on Adoption Dogs. Adoption fees can range 400-500 dollars. This fee covers quarantine expenses, vet fees, and any medical attention the dog needs. It is non-refundable, and non-negotiable.
If we have any surrenders available they will be listed on this page. If you don’t see any it’s because we don’t currently have any surrenders available.
