There are two pieces of equipment that you will need to install.
First, the Video Access Point (VAP) must be connected to your existing Residential Gateway (RG).
Connect the VAP to one of the four yellow Ethernet ports on the back of the RG with the Ethernet cable provided.

Ensure that the VAP is installed standing upright. If needed, obtain a wall mount from a Bell MTS store. Once connected, switch the power on using the switch on the rear of the device.

Notes:
- The Wireless Set Top box (STB) must be installed flat or performance may be impaired.
- Do not block any slots/openings or place anything on top of the STB.
- If used outdoors STB must be protected from moisture, temperature extremes and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
- Verify that the wireless set-top box is turned on and that the connection instructions are displayed on the TV.
- Press and hold the WPS button on the Home Hub 3000 for 10 seconds until the 5-minute countdown begins.
Note:
If you press the WPS button for less than 10 seconds, a 2-minute countdown will begin. The 2-minute countdown is used to connect mobile devices such as tablets and will not work with your Fibe TV set-top boxes. Press the WPS button again to cancel the countdown.
- Within 3 minutes, press the OK button on the front of your set-top box. Wait up to 5 minutes for the receiver to connect. Once connected, your set-top box will automatically restart.
Note:
It is normal for the lights on the receiver to flicker while restarting.
- You'll receive a notification on the TV screen once the wireless HD set-top box is paired with the Home Hub 3000. Once connected your set-top box will automatically restart once again.
- Wait up to 5 minutes for the Fibe TV activation screen to appear on your TV.
The TV STB should come pre-activated. If TV programming does not appear after a period of 20 minutes, please contact us.
- Disconnect all cables from your current set-top box and connect them to the corresponding connections on your new set-top box while keeping all cables to your TV and other devices connected.
Note:
Wireless set-top boxes do not require a coaxial or Ethernet cable. - Connect the set-top box to a power outlet and it will automatically turn itself on within several minutes.
- Go to the transmitter and connect it to the Fibe modem using an Ethernet cable and to a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
- Once you've set up your transmitter, turn on the device.
- On the front of the transmitter, confirm that the Wi-Fi signal light is either solid green or flashing green.
- Press the transmitter's WPS button. The bottom green light will begin to flash.
- Within 2 minutes, go back to your set-top box and press OK.
- The set-top box will connect to the transmitter and restart. You will see a Fibe TV logo on your TV and a green Wi-Fi signal light on your receiver when it is ready for use. Press SELECT to watch TV.
If your television signal has been lost:
Ensure your TV is set to the correct input (HDMI1, HDMI2, Video 1, etc.).
Reboot your modem by unplugging the power cable and plugging it back in.
- Connect the set-top box to a power outlet and it will automatically turn itself on within several minutes.
- Go to the transmitter and connect it to the Fibe modem using an Ethernet cable and to a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
- Once you've set up your transmitter, turn on the device.
- On the front of the transmitter, confirm that the Wi-Fi signal light is either solid green or flashing green.
